Go Georgia Arts...

The Go Georgia Arts is a state wide arts origination located in the Atlanta airport area in the city of Hapeville, Ga. Our focus is to offer art programs and grants to smaller cities and communities throughout the state. Through education, consulting, murals, public art, events and fine art.

Public Arts Consulting...

As communities and cities take part in our public arts program we offer consulting. This consulting is offered as part of our Georgia Mural trail program. As we create art projects throughout the state it puts us in a positive light to see what other cities are doing. That helps us with fresh eyes to help each city to focus on their mission statement. On what makes their city special within their region.  We also help create opportunities for other public art, events, that could be created as part of their mission.

Planting an Creative Seed...

Planting an creative seed that could grow into other public art projects and future art center/studio/gallery's. And help create an arts movement into an brick and mortar building.

Georgia Mural trail...

The Georgia Mural Trail was created by John W. Christian from the Go Georgia Arts in late 2014. Our mission is to design, create, educate, and promote community heritage, culture, and tourism through public community art projects and events.

How the Trail started...

The trail started as a five year program to paint fifty murals in fifty cities in five years. Our goal is to get other artists, organizations, and sponsors on board to help with the painting, funding, and marketing of the trail. The trail focus on smaller cities under 10,000 people and cities under 50,000 people.

Marketing the Trail...

WE hope once we have 20 murals completed we will have state wide support through online marketing and fliers at the welcome centers throughout the state. Also with each mural we complete that each city will be helping promoting the trail.

How many Cities are on board Now...

WE currently have fifteen murals completed in twelve cities. We now have on the books to paint in 2018 sixteen murals in sixteen cities. That brings us to thirty one murals in twenty eight cities.

Taking the Trail to other States...

When we started the trail over two years also we could only find a couple of cities in the nation that had a mural trail. We plan to try to link up with other states and help create other mural trails in other states.
